About Us
Nidd Valley Road Runners, was established in 1984. Members enjoy a friendly atmosphere and the opportunity to achieve their running potential. We cater for road, fell and cross-country running enthusiasts of all standards. If you have a competitive side we enter races near and far and hold an annual club championship.
Our main aim is enjoyment, there is always someone around when seeking advice and you can always find someone of a similar running ability
During the winter months we help out with London Marathon Training, during the Summer there is an Evening League and Pub Runs
Where & When We Meet
We meet on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 6.45 for a 7.00pm run at Granby Hockey Centre, Ainsty Road, Harrogate, HG1 4AP. There is ample car and cycle parking, male / female changing rooms and hot showers! At weekends we often travel to races, or train off road around the Harrogate and Yorkshire Dales area. Please check the News page for our plans
